The team that developed the forthcoming Radio for Windows Phone 7 earned top honors at xapfest, gaining the coveted User’s Choice award for each of its developers: Marco Papa, Jorge Gonzalez and Bilal Azam.
XAPFest is a contest to create beautiful applications for Windows Phone 7, and was held on Saturday, June 4th from 9:00am to 10:00pm at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, CA.
Judges at the event included:
- Ben Lower, Sr. Product Manager on the Windows Phone Developer Experience team.
- Avesta Rasouli, founder and CEO of Coloft, a community based workspace concept for startups, entrepreneurs, and freelancers located in Santa Monica, CA.
- Giang Biscan, PhD., founder of TheStartupAngel.com (previously AsAble.com) and the Advisor of Mixergy.com.
The event was sponsored by Infragistics and greatly organized by Aaron Stannard, startup Developer Evangelist at Microsoft.
